旅游口譯內(nèi)容常常涉及旅游參觀過程中的景點(diǎn)介紹、城市情況介紹、對(duì)外開放單位情況介紹及與此有關(guān)的友好交往與接待工作。例如：
1. 朋友們，這就是著名的西湖。由于它位于杭州西部，因此而得名西湖。西湖的面積約6平方公里。它的西北、西南及東南都有群山環(huán)繞，呈馬蹄形。秀麗的湖光山色構(gòu)成了杭州風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)，是我國主要的風(fēng)景點(diǎn)之一。杭州素以景色優(yōu)美而聞名于世。自從南宋（1127～1279年）以來，斷橋殘雪、平湖秋月、蘇堤春曉、花港觀魚及三潭印月等西湖十景一直享有盛名，吸引眾多游客。
1. Friends, this is the famous West Lake. It is so named because it is located west of Hangzhou. It covers an area of about 6 square km and is surrounded by mountains in the shape of a horse's hoof in the northwest, southwest and southeast. The wonderful lake and peaks form the Hangzhou West Lake Scenic and Historical Sights Area, which is one of China's major beauty spots. It is noted for wonderful vistas. Since the Southern Song Dynasty (1127 ~ 1279) the 10 West Lake Sights, including Snow on Broken Bridge,
Autumn Moon Over Calm Lake, Misty Spring Morning Over Su Causeway, Fish Wander at Huagang Crook and Three Pools Mirror the Moon, received their popularity and attracted many visitors.
2. 故宮博物館。故宮博物館又名紫禁城，坐落在天安門廣場(chǎng)的正北。它占地面積約72公頃，有9000多間房。其建筑面積約150000平方米，是中國現(xiàn)有最大的古代宮殿建筑群。它的宮殿展現(xiàn)出一派壯麗的景色。
2. The Palace Museum. Located just north of Tian'anmen Square, the Palace Muscum, also known as the Forbidden City, covers an area of 72 hectares and has more than 9 000 rooms. Its built area of some 150 000 square metres makes it the largest of China's existing ancient palace buildings. Its palaces and halls command a splendid view.
3. 這是我們的第五個(gè)站，也是最后一站——長(zhǎng)城八達(dá)嶺。長(zhǎng)城座落在八達(dá)嶺的頂端，該山由花崗巖組成，年齡為1.32億年。長(zhǎng)城長(zhǎng)達(dá)6350公里以上，它于公元前770年至公元前256年的東周時(shí)期為防御北方游牧部落的入侵而修建的。公元前221年，秦朝的第一個(gè)皇帝秦始皇把長(zhǎng)城連接
起來并進(jìn)一步加固。
3. This is our fifth and final stop – the Badaling section of the Great Wall. The wall sits on top of the Badaling mountain which consists of granite dated at 132 million years. The wall itself is more than 6 350 kilometers long and was built during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty from 770 to 256 B. C. to hold back the nomadic tribes of thc north. In 221 B. C. the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Qin Shi Huang had the wall linked and strengthened.
