因果關系：so，thus, hence, as a result, consequently, reason, because, for, due to, accordingly
對照關系：like，similarly，in a similar manner
對比關系：different from, unlike, by contrast, on the other hand，on the contrary, conversely
解釋關系：that is to say, in other words, this means
條件關系：if，unless, once, provided that, in case (of), had I known, were this to happen
舉例關系：for example, for instance, in this case, namely, such as，a case in point,
歸納總結：on the whole, in brief, to sum up, in conclusion, in summary, to conclude，in short.
漢語與英語在句子結構上存在明顯不同。漢語造句少用甚至不用任何形式的連接手段，而是依靠分句間隱含的邏輯事理關系來安排語序。但是漢英兩種語言都包含以下常見的邏輯關系，即并列、承接、解說、遞進、選擇、轉折、因果、假設、條件、目的等類型。
由于英語和漢語連接句子、構建意群的方式不同，所以聽辨英語和漢語中的句間邏輯關系也各有側重。英語的難點在聽辨連接詞和關系代詞，而漢語的難點是要依靠上下文，掌握這些分句間的內在的邏輯線索，從而準確判斷出講話人的真實意圖，為后來的翻譯打好基礎。
